A recent headline on the Web site of WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut, read,   “Almighty Allah busted on drug charges.”   How could this be?  Well, not that Allah.   WTNH reports that the man, who legally changed his name to Almighty Supremebeing Allah, faces a narcotics charge.  It gets worse: Allah has prior convictions and is being “held on $260,000.00 bond on charges including cocaine possession, attempt to sell cocaine, and traffic charges.”

Now, if Muslims rioted over cartoons of Mohammed I would hate to think what they will do if they find out Allah is a crack dealer. All I can say is, police be upon him.

I was wrong when I used the word awareness.  I realise that now.  Allow me to explain...

That which is recorded on the synapse is the input from all senses, regardless of your conscious awareness.  Most incidents of Deja Vu is a good example.

One may the sensation or thought, 'I've been in this house before.'  When you know you haven't.   However, it is nothing more than a similarity in some non-ordinary sounds or smells, in the present environment, being confused with those recorded on that long forgotten synapse.  You would not even need to have been aware of them at the instant they were previously recorded... your conscious awareness may have been totally focused on the visual sense.  Moreover, the synapse records input from all sources.  Given this possibility, various preceived phenomenom may originate in much the same way.

Altered states of consciousness is quite a different subject.

Joe, that's our calling.  To gather and disseminate the facts that others so badly need.  If after being shown the waters of truth they still refuse to drink, so be it.

May there always be liberty in the USA.  And, there will be as long as most of us choose good, instead of evil.

Is not each instant of our awareness (aggregate of all senses) entrophically recorded and filed on some synapse, left to rest until recollected or disspated by host's decomposition?

If I followed you correctly...  you're asking, is the soul merely a collection of ideas ... just thoughts... energy in a physically constituted form, consisting of atoms, which can leave residue long after, as witness for later observation.  Is this your assertion?            Who knows?

Perhaps, my friend, those that insist that time is the invention of the mind are, at least, in part correct.  They say, that Napoleon is currently engaged at Waterloo... that Columbus is now sailing westward...

Maybe, a glimpse of some spirit, past or future, is nothing more than a mental glitch; the temporary flash from two crossed neurons, resulting in cognition without temporal interference.  A revelation only for the observer... and hearsay for the rest of us.  Or, just a bunch of hooey.

    Good post, I enjoyed it.
